Meet the Spark of Hope Michigan Team

Spark of Hope Michigan was founded by husband-and-wife duo Brian and Jessica Montgomery. The two spent seven years as first responders, helping people throughout the United States who were impacted by hurricanes and tornadoes. They created Spark of Hope Michigan so that they could assist people through their charity’s disaster-relief efforts.

Today, Brian and Jessica work alongside the organization’s two board members. Salem Haddad serves as the secretary of Spark of Hope Michigan and assists with the emergency response operations. Paul Holubeck is the commercial development director and helps the organization aid those in need.

Additionally, many volunteers help Spark of Hope Michigan achieve its goal of helping as many people as possible who have been impacted by disasters.

Disaster Relief Efforts & Future Goals

Over the years, Spark of Hope Michigan has been making a positive impact on people’s lives through its disaster-relief efforts. The organization’s goal is to help people who have been displaced due to fire or flood damage.

The organization hosts events, like clothing drives, to collect supplies. It then creates care packages for people in need so that they have access to clean clothes, shoes, hygiene products, and more.

Spark of Hope Michigan also helps people find temporary housing if they have evacuated their home. They also provide access to any medications and prescriptions that may have been compromised in the flood or fire.

Over the years, Spark of Hope Michigan has assisted many families by giving them access to clothes, supplies, and temporary housing so that they can recover from floods or fires. In the future, the charity hopes to expand its reach even further by equipping more volunteers and opening a storefront where people can get easy access to the supplies they need.
