Q: What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket parts?
A: Factory- directly from the manufacturer that built your vehicle. Factory parts are built specifically for a make and model which means that will fit and perform at a high level. Generic means built for more than one make and model. The fit and performance of these parts vary, as does their warranties.
