Chevrolet Fuel Injection Flush

Chevy Fuel Injection Flush Service Special

WHAT IS THE FUEL INJECTION FLUSH ALL ABOUT?

The fuel injection refers to the injectors located at the intake of your engine. They carry the fuel to the engine and are essential for smooth operations of the vehicle. Like other functions under the hood, the fuel injectors need to be cleaned to maintain vehicle performance. During a fuel injection flush, a cleaning additive is added to the injectors to flush the system and remove any build-up of fuel, wax, or dirt that may be clogging the injectors and not getting enough fuel onto the engine.

WHY SHOULD I HAVE IT DONE NOW?

This should be done periodically to maintain the performance of your engine and overall vehicle preservation. The engine needs fuel to perform and maintain its standard operation. Ensuring that it gets the right amount of fuel all the time ensures that it properly performs. If your fuel injectors become clogged, that means less fuel is accessing the engine and can cause the performance to deteriorate, as well as other issues such as overheating due to less fuel. Because you are maintaining your fuel injection, you will also have maximized gas mileage for your vehicle.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T DO IT NOW?

Depending on how long you have been driving your vehicle without the fuel injection flush can determine the effects it has on your vehicle. If you choose to not have your fuel injection flushed, you will first experience worsening gas mileage. You can also expect your engine to underperform. Continuing to operate your vehicle without this service will lead to a domino effect of mechanical deterioration, as the engine is not utilizing the fuel it needs to perform. Once the injectors are significantly clogged, the engine will receive minimal to no fuel and begin to overheat when performing. This maintenance is something that is periodically required, as all vehicles require this maintenance for vehicle preservation.
