The resin that our technicians place on the windshield behaves slightly like glue and bonds the sections of the windshield together. Extensive damage does not always mean large damages. Cracks or chips that are greater than 12 inches in length or 2 inches in width are unsafe to repair. Large damages that cannot be repaired will require that the windshield is completely replaced.

Lastly, there are occasions where a windshield is damaged in areas that cannot be safely repaired. In these cases, the windshield has to be completely replaced.
