More About Community Sharing Outreach Center

The Community Sharing Outreach Center is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on providing food and financial support to those in need in our community. For the last 15 years, this organization has provided assistance and guidance to “the recently employed, the working poor, families in poverty, low income seniors, people with disabilities, and other who qualify.”

They provide a wide variety of programs that help those that are less fortunate. These programs specifically target inter-generational poverty in order to give children within the program the chance to enjoy a bright and successful future.

What They Have to Offer Our Community

The Community Sharing Outreach Center works with a network of 200 volunteers in order to provide assistance to the community. Thanks to all the volunteers that work with this organization, they’re able to use an average of ninety cents of every donated dollar to provide programs like:

• Clothing drives to cloth those in need of all ages
• Toy drives so every child has a gift during the holidays
• Stamp Out Hunger food drives to feed the hungry
• Donation parties for food and hygiene donations

These are just some of the programs that they offer throughout the year to help those in need.

The Community Sharing Outreach Center is always looking for donations of time, goods, and money. On their website, you can donate as little as $1, which can purchase two meals for those in need. You can also get involved by participating in a seasonal project like a back to school clothing drive or a Santa’s Helper toy drive.
