Chevy Traverse LS

The differences between the L and LS trim levels are few and far between. They both share most of the same features, with the LS making certain packages and accessories available.

However, the LS does still help set the stage for the following trim levels, much like the L. In an SUV like the Traverse, meant to fit the whole family, you’ll likely expect a good deal of room inside. The massive cabin of the Traverse kicks off with up to 98.2 cubic feet of cargo space, so you can pack everything from a full car of camping equipment or weekend bags to a pair of bikes with all the seats folded down.

The space of the Traverse doesn’t just start and end with cargo space, however. You and your passengers can also look forward to plenty of personal space as well from the front to the back row:

The LS also opens the door to some exclusive exterior designs with the available Midnight and Sport editions.

Chevy Traverse RS

While its performance specs and interior dimensions are identical to the L and LS, the RS trim level is where you’ll start to see some new standard features.

To start, the RS is the first trim level in the Chevy Traverse roster that includes only 7-passenger seating, with two captain’s chairs making up the second row. Some of the additional standard features you’ll see in the RS that you haven’t seen in either prior trim level include:

• Bose® premium audio system
• Heated driver and front passenger seats
• Automatic heated steering wheel
• Remote start system
• SiriusXM® 3-Month Trial Subscription

The RS also introduces the Chevy Safety Assist system to the Traverse family, with a suite of standard intelligent safety features included.

Chevy Traverse LT Cloth

The LT Cloth trim level doesn’t introduce many new standard features from the previous trims, however it does make plenty of interior and exterior amenities available.

On the outside, the LT Cloth makes features like 18” gloss black painted aluminum wheels, black finish grille, and a power programmable liftgate available. It does introduce some standard exterior features, too, like roof-mounted side rails, heated power outside mirrors, and fog lamps.

Inside, you can expect some new standard and available features like an 8-way power driver seat, jet black/dark galvanized premium cloth seat trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Chevy Traverse LT Leather

In the Chevy Traverse LT Leather trim, you’ll start to see a number of unique intelligent features across the board.

As the title may give away, this trim comes with a base 3LT leather package. It also comes with certain tech additions like a standard 4.2-inch diagonal color driver information center and Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System with an 8-inch HD color touchscreen.

Although the Chevy Safety Assist system doesn’t come standard in the LT Leather trim, it is available, and it does feature a fair amount of intuitive safety features. Some of those include a Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The LT Leather trim also comes standard with a remote start system.

Chevy Traverse Premier

The Premier trim level is the first truly high-end trim for the Chevy Traverse.

It offers plenty of standard interior and exterior features that you won’t find on any previous trim. Some of those include heated and ventilated driver and passenger seats, memory settings, and wireless device charging.

As you might expect, the Premier also comes standard with the Chevy Safety Assist system. This includes the following intelligent, intuitive safety features:

• Automatic Emergency Braking
• Forward Collision Alert
• Front Pedestrian Braking
• Following Distance Indicator
• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
• IntelliBeam®

The Premier also introduces a Hands-Free Gesture Liftgate for convenient rear storage.

Chevy Traverse High Country

Rounding out the Chevy Traverse trim levels is the High Country trim. Sharing most features with the Premier, the High Country is considered another top-of-the-line trim in the Traverse roster.

The most notable difference between the High Country and any previous trim level, even the Premier, is its standard trailering equipment. So, if you’re looking to bring a small trailer or boat along for the ride, the High Country is for you.

When properly equipped, you’ll be able to tow up to 5,000 pounds. The High Country also features a hitch guidance system and a heavy-duty cooling system to minimize overheating.
