How is the 2020 Chevy Blazer Different?

Chevy Blazer Design The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is slated to be a continuation of the first-generation model that was reintroduced in 2019, so it will most likely share most of the same exterior and interior styling. However, where the latest rendering of this crossover will truly differ is in its engine options.

The 2020 model adds a third powertrain to the lineup, a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that’s set to generate 230 horsepower. The baseline 2.5-liter 4-cylinder motor and available V6 engine are both slated to make a comeback as well, providing you with ample power and efficiency options.

When properly equipped, the previous model year was able to haul around your lightweight travel trailer or small fishing boat with ease. Since the available V6 engine is returning, anticipate the same pulling power on the 2020 model. Changes are expected to be made to the tow package though, with trailer hitch guidance being included. This helpful feature helps you hook up your pop-up camping trailer easier so you can hit the road faster.

What Can You Expect From the 2020 Chevy Blazer?

Chevy Blazer Infotainment Since this model is a continuation of the previous year, you can anticipate all the same features you love to make a return, like available ambient interior lighting and heated and ventilated front seats.

The 2020 edition of the Blazer is said to be better suited for off-road experiences and longer road trips, so you’ll be happy to have a standard 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. No matter how far off the path you stray, you’ll stay entertained throughout the ride with access to your music library and other select applications.

For a more enjoyable and secure road trip, Forward-Collision Warning and Automated Emergency Braking, Lane-Departure Warning and Lane-Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control will most likely be available. These advanced systems monitor the changing road around you and alert you to potential obstacles, helping you avoid a collision.
